Lights and Sirens for your Patrol Bike
When it comes to light and siren options for your patrol bike you do have a lot of choices. The dollar your department wants to spend could be the deciding factor. There are All-in-One Combos to components to build your light set. Probably the first to consider is what is the use of your lights.
I have had departments set up their bikes at intersections to control traffic and they need a full flashing combo. Others ride through country roads or suburb communities as part of Community Orientated Policing and need just a head and tail light. So to meet your need there is a set up that will fit your bike patrol type.

Lets look at low cost basics first

So you just need a headlight and perhaps a tail light? Well they can be found at any bike shop or online retailer. The prices may run from as low as 10.00 up to near 50.00 depending on the battery type and brightness.
The new Nightstalker pictured here (left) is really a great low cost light (49.00) that has a wig wag effect plus the option of flip down lenses. Although a smaller handle bar clamp you can easily justify the costs over a high dollar light set. Even if you had to replace 5 units over a three year period your dollar spent is lower.
Again look at your requirement and decide on a light set that meets your needs.
Here are some starter components that when used together make some good combination's. Not an all inclusive view, but enough to get you going. Local Bike Shops around the country all stock basic white head light and red tail lights. Many do not have accounts for Police color combinations. So shop a vendor listed here at BikeDuty.com use our contact page to ask us a question.
